Core Service 01
Automotive Window Tint
Sharp lines. Deep cut. Zero bubbles.
Automotive tint is what put Redline Tinting on the map — the flagship service, and the one we install more of than any other. Every install starts with a plotter-cut pattern for your exact year, make, and model, then moves into a filtered, dust-controlled bay so no debris ever touches the film.
We install XPEL PRIME — a nano-ceramic dyed-hybrid film that rejects up to 88% of infrared heat and blocks 99% of UV, all without the purple fade or bubbling you get from cheap dyed film. Full sedans, coupes, trucks, SUVs, Teslas, Cybertrucks, Raptors, G-Wagons — we have filmed them all.
Every job leaves the shop with a lifetime warranty on the film, sharp edges cut clean to the glass, and cure instructions so the tint reads perfect the moment the water dries out.
- XPEL PRIME nano-ceramic film
- Plotter-cut, dust-controlled install
- Legal shade for every window
- Lifetime warranty on the film

XPEL Paint Protection Film
Rock chips stop here.
XPEL Paint Protection Film is a clear, self-healing urethane skin bonded to your factory paint. It absorbs rock chips, road-salt spray, sap, and bug etching before they ever reach the clear coat — and if the film gets swirled or scratched, warm water or a heat gun flashes it right back out.
We install partial-front packages (hood, fenders, mirrors, bumper), full-front, track packages, and full-vehicle wraps in genuine XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS or STEALTH (matte). Every panel gets wrapped edges where possible so nothing lifts, and every corner is knifed with a plastic blade — never on the paint.
On exotics, EVs, and lifted trucks alike, PPF is the difference between a five-year-old car that still looks new and one that already needs a repaint. And the film is fully removable when you resell.
- XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS & STEALTH
- Self-healing clear urethane
- Wrapped-edge installs, no lifted seams
- Manufacturer-backed 10-year warranty

Premium Ceramic Tint
Cool cabin. Clear signal. No purple fade.
Premium ceramic tint is our top-shelf automotive line for drivers who want the maximum heat rejection and the cleanest optical clarity. XPEL XR PLUS blocks up to 98% of infrared heat and 99% of UV — the kind of heat cut you feel the moment you get in the car on a Yakima August afternoon.
Unlike metallic films that block cell and GPS signal, ceramic is 100% non-metallic — your CarPlay, radar detector, and window-mounted antennas keep working exactly as they should. And because the ceramic particles are the color, ceramic tint never oxidizes into that purple haze cheaper dyed films always develop.
Optically, XR PLUS reads glass-clear from inside the cabin — no color cast, no visibility loss at night, no glare. It is the tint we recommend for daily drivers, luxury vehicles, and anyone tinting a windshield strip.
- Up to 98% infrared heat rejection
- 99% UV block — no fade, no cracking
- Signal-safe non-metallic ceramic
- Crystal-clear cabin view, day and night

Windshield Strips & Full Fronts
Kill the glare. Keep the view.
Sun coming over the Cascades at 6 PM hits the top of the windshield like a spotlight. A ceramic eyebrow strip or full-windshield film cuts the glare, drops cabin temperature, and blocks UV without dimming your view of the road.
For daily drivers we install a top eyebrow strip in whatever shade Washington allows — clean-cut to the tint band, no visible lines. For track cars, RVs, and long-haul drivers we can go full-windshield in XPEL XR PLUS clear-ceramic (nearly invisible, still blocks 98% of infrared heat).
Either option is knife-free and heat-shrunk to the compound curve of the windshield, so it reads flat from every angle and lasts as long as the glass does.
- Eyebrow strips or full-windshield film
- XPEL XR PLUS ceramic clarity
- Legal shade for Washington drivers
- Heat-shrunk to compound curve

Commercial Window Tint
Cut glare. Cut heat. Cut the bill.
Commercial tint is the quiet workhorse of the shop — we install film on storefronts, offices, medical waiting rooms, and warehouses across the Yakima Valley. The right film knocks HVAC load down enough to pay for itself over the season, kills the west-facing afternoon glare on employee monitors, and blocks 99% of UV so displayed merchandise stops fading.
We stock daylight, dual-reflective, and privacy-tint options depending on what the space needs. On glass-front retail we can also install security film — a thicker impact-resistant film that holds broken glass together in the event of a break-in.
This is an add-on service we love to do for local Yakima businesses. Not the majority of our work, but a service where the ROI on a good install pays back every summer.
- Solar, privacy & security film
- HVAC load reduction & UV block
- Storefront, office & warehouse
- Yakima Valley commercial coverage

Residential Window Tint
Cooler rooms. Softer light. No fade.
Residential window tint drops interior room temperature by up to 15°F on west-facing glass, blocks 99% of UV so hardwood floors, art, and furniture stop fading, and cuts the summer AC bill for the rest of the season.
We stock daylight-clear ceramic film (invisible from inside, high heat rejection), light dual-reflective (softens the view from outside without going dark), and full privacy options where the room needs it. Every install is dry-cut on-site and squeegeed clean so you never see a bubble or a knife line.
Home tint is a smaller slice of the shop's book than automotive — but if you are in the Valley and want your living room to stop feeling like a sunroom every July, we are your call.
- Ceramic, dual-reflective & privacy
- Up to 15°F cooler interior temps
- 99% UV block — no floor / art fade
- Clean dry-cut install, no bubbles
Frequently Asked
Frequently asked about our film & PPF services
Direct, no-fluff answers to the questions we hear most. Do not see yours? Ask us
What is the difference between ceramic tint and regular tint?
Ceramic tint uses non-metallic ceramic particles that block up to 98% of infrared heat and never fade to purple. Regular dyed tint is cheaper but oxidizes over time, blocks less heat, and can interfere with cell / GPS signal if it uses metallic layers. All Redline installs use ceramic film — XPEL PRIME or XR PLUS.
What is XPEL Paint Protection Film (PPF)?
XPEL PPF is a clear, self-healing urethane film that bonds to your factory paint and absorbs rock chips, road debris, bug etching, and salt spray. If the film gets scratched, heat from the sun or a heat gun flashes the scratch back out. XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
What is the darkest legal tint in Washington?
Washington state law allows 24% VLT (visible light transmission) or darker on rear side windows and rear glass, and 24% VLT on the front side windows. Windshields are restricted to a 6-inch AS-1 line eyebrow strip. Redline installs to the legal Washington shade unless the vehicle qualifies for a medical exemption.
Does window tint help with heat in the summer?
Yes — ceramic window tint blocks up to 98% of infrared (IR) heat, which is the main heat radiation entering through your windows. In a Yakima August that translates to a noticeably cooler cabin, less AC load, and cooler upholstery when you get in after work.
How long does XPEL PPF last?
XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS PPF carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, staining, cracking, and peeling. Real-world lifespan on a well-maintained vehicle is typically 7–10 years, and the film is fully removable when you resell.
Not sure which film line you need?
Send us the vehicle year, make, and model — plus which windows or panels you want covered — and we'll spec the right XPEL film and quote it same-day.
