What we install

Four core services. XPEL from bumper to back glass.

Automotive tint and paint protection are the flagship. Every install uses XPEL film, runs through a filtered install bay, and leaves the shop with a manufacturer-backed lifetime warranty.

How the install runs

The Redline install process.

A great tint or PPF install is 90% what happens before the film touches the vehicle. Every job runs through the same four-step process — no shortcuts, no dust, no blade-on-paint.

  1. 01

    Plotter-Cut

We pull your exact year / make / model pattern from the XPEL library and plotter-cut every panel before it ever touches the vehicle — no razor blades on your paint.

  2. 02

    Prep

Vehicle rolls into a filtered, dust-controlled bay. Every window and panel is glass-cleaned, clay-barred where needed, and inspected under LED lighting before any film touches it.

  3. 03

    Install

Film is heat-shrunk to the compound curve, squeegeed edge-to-edge with zero micro-bubbles, and knifed clean using plastic blades — the paint and glass leave the shop untouched.

  4. 04

    Cure & Warranty

You get written cure instructions (roll-up windows for 3–5 days), a walk-around inspection with the tech, and lifetime XPEL warranty paperwork before you drive away.

Why Redline

Why owners drop their build with us.

The best tint and PPF jobs share three things — the right film, a clean bay, and a technician who cares how the edges read at eye level. That is the standard on every vehicle that rolls through Redline.

01

XPEL — nothing else.

We only install XPEL PRIME, XR PLUS, ULTIMATE PLUS, and STEALTH — the same films the OEM performance shops trust. No cheap dyed film, no purple fade, no lifting edges six months later.

02

Certified. Insured. Trained.

Every technician on the floor is a certified XPEL installer. Manufacturer-backed warranty coverage means the film itself is warrantied — not just our workmanship.

03

Dust-controlled bays.

Ninety percent of what ruins a tint job is a single piece of debris under the film. Our install bays are filtered, prepped, and lit like an OR — so what you drive away with is clean glass and sharp lines.

Real Yakima Valley drivers, real installs. See what customers say after their tint or PPF walk-around.

"Best tint shop in the Valley. Dropped my Charger off in the morning, picked it up clean and dust-free by the end of the day. Cut lines are perfect and the ceramic keeps the cabin actually cool in July."

Mateo R.

Yakima, WA

"I had Redline do full XPEL PPF on the front end of my Model 3 plus ceramic tint on all the windows. Two rock chips already hit the film — you can’t even tell they happened. Worth every dollar."

Kara S.

Tesla Model 3 owner

"Got the eyebrow strip on my truck plus full tint on the doors. They matched my factory glass shade perfectly and the crew explained the cure time so I didn't roll the windows down too early. Solid shop."

Devin H.

Union Gap, WA

"We had them film the west-facing storefront on our shop last summer. Employees stopped complaining about the afternoon glare on the register monitors and our AC bill actually dropped. Fast, clean install."

Common questions about Redline Tinting

Direct, no-fluff answers to the questions we hear most. Do not see yours? Ask us

What does Redline Tinting do?

Redline Tinting is a Yakima, WA automotive tint and paint protection shop. We install premium XPEL ceramic window film, XPEL Paint Protection Film (PPF), and full paint-protection wraps on cars, trucks, SUVs, and EVs — plus commercial and residential window tint across the Yakima Valley.

What tint brand do you use?

We install XPEL — specifically XPEL PRIME nano-ceramic and XPEL XR PLUS ceramic window film. XPEL is a certified manufacturer-backed film with a lifetime warranty; the ceramic particles never fade to purple and reject up to 98% of infrared heat.

Where is Redline Tinting located?

We are at 6601 W Tieton Dr # A, Yakima, WA 98908. Open Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM. Call (509) 426-2394 to book an install slot.

How long does window tinting take?

Most full-vehicle tint jobs take 2–4 hours depending on the vehicle. Windshield strips and single-window installs take under an hour. Full XPEL PPF packages run from a single day (partial front) to two or three days (full-vehicle wrap).

Do you offer commercial and residential tint?

Yes. Automotive tint is our primary service, but we also install commercial window film (storefronts, offices, warehouses) and residential window tint across Yakima, Selah, Union Gap, Sunnyside, Prosser, and the greater Valley.
